Miriam Shumway-Driggs became a family law attorney so she can help clients through their toughest days. Prior to joining Nevada Family Law Group, Miriam was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable David S. Gibson, Jr., in the Eighth Judicial District Court – Family Division where she focused on juvenile abuse & neglect and juvenile-delinquency cases. She also clerked for the Children’s Attorneys Project of the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and interned with the Honorable William G. Cobb in the U.S. District Court, District of Nevada.
Miriam graduated cum laude and with highest Pro Bono Honors from the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While at Boyd, she worked with the Kids’ Court School and was the Lead Articles Editor for the Gaming Law Journal. Before entering the legal field, she worked at Zions Bancorporation, a large financial institution. She earned her B.A. in Journalism from Brigham Young University. Miriam grew up in Elko, Nevada.
