Lisa focuses her practice on complex divorce and custody cases, post-divorce litigation, adoptions, and abuse and neglect proceedings. She began her legal career working as a law clerk for a Las Vegas family law firm. During her third year of law school, Ms. Chamlee-Brainard served as a student attorney in the Boyd Law School Thomas & Mack Family Justice Clinic, where she acquired real-life experience in Clark County Family Court. Following her admission to the Nevada Bar in May, 2011, Ms. Chamlee-Brainard practiced primarily in the area of Family Law, representing several clients in Clark County Family Court.
While she is a seasoned trial attorney, Ms. Chamlee-Brainard has also successfully settled many domestic cases to her clients’ satisfaction. She works closely with her clients to ensure that they are kept informed of the status of their case, and advised of the law and their rights on each disputed issue. Ms. Chamlee-Brainard works hard to ensure that her clients achieve the best possible outcome through either settlement or litigation.
Prior to her work in the legal field, Ms. Chamlee-Brainard performed as a vocalist in various studios in the Las Vegas area, as well as many hotels and casinos. A former single mother who worked while attending college, Ms. Chamlee-Brainard received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2006. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Nevada, William S. Boyd School of Law in 2010.
Ms. Chamlee-Brainard is the mother of three children, and in her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family, and spending time outdoors with her husband and children.
